An object of reflection “is always there.” It exists before being reflected on. It forms the background of experiential consciousness and is always within an experience limited by what is possible and nothing outside of that possibility. Its certainty is always uncertain in itself. Its authenticity relies on the experiencing consciousness and, to that fact, anything outlying is beyond pure consciousness. It remains as a possibility and nothing else. Whatever is not transcending is not existing.
