When we perceive an object we lose ourselves to it. We become part of something which is no longer our self and distant from our beginning. We desert the cold reality that freezes over and shifts its plates in a tectonic gesture; a gesture which, through perceiving, brings a world to its knees and supplants it with thoughts and a consciousness contained by thoughts, imprisoned from itself, pushed from itself, into the darkest corridors which only see light if the curtain of its character be pulled away, and the content of its spirit be set free, by returning to its beginning where the soul meets spirit and the being of existence commences.
