The ‘unchangeable’ is that which lies before consciousness. Consciousness itself is changeable when it is up against what is “there” and outside itself. It sees the unchangeable as a division, a finite element of time and space that comprises the insurmountable distance between itself and what is real. What consciousness becomes is one with itself-outside-itself so that, through its own sense of certainty, it is able to experience its own essence while experiencing what lies beyond it. The result of this reality brings reason to consciousness and exposes it to itself within the corridors of its own understanding.
