Once Absolute Being lends itself to consciousness it leaves that which it never was and becomes its own becoming. It shifts from eternity to ego and into the thickness of the world, unifying with its otherness. Through this unification it is now a subject among objects and an object among subjects. It cannot escape its surroundings once it becomes ego, so it turns to the self to rectify its strangeness to it-self, to its former Absolute being, and begins its “life” as an otherness. Once it assimilates to the structure, and the laws, that have preceded it in the manifold of its existence, it reaches an understanding with the world and uses reason to navigate through its complex field of incidental accoutrements.
